Challenge
Planned redevelopment required an assessment of the older school wing and auditorium, including localized response concerns and interaction with the western complex.
STRAAM approach
On March 9, 2016, STRAAM collected about five hours of data with four triaxial accelerometers and an SKG at 200 samples per second.
Result
The work documented how the retained portions responded and identified issues for designers to consider. It recommended monitoring during the next phase.
