Challenge
Shoreline stabilization work required baseline and ongoing tracking of the historic complex’s dynamic response, vibration, and tilt.
STRAAM approach
STRAAM monitored the lighthouse, museum, and fire control tower from April 2021 through May 2023 using 11 accelerometers and three acquisition systems at 200 samples per second.
Result
The final monitoring record summarized how the structures responded during the shoreline project and noted that the work had been completed.
