Challenge
Construction at Owls Head WWTP required movement tracking at the relieving pier and its cracks.
STRAAM approach
STRAAM used six LVDTs and data acquisition at 200 samples per second through March 22, 2019, when monitoring ended.
Result
Movement at the monitored cracks stayed below the project’s alert level during the covered period. Monitoring ended at NYC DEP’s request.
