The project required tracking the dam’s dynamic response as reservoir levels changed and comparing tilt measurements from different methods.
STRAAM approach
STRAAM monitored response during June–July 2015, related modal-frequency changes to water level, and compared accelerometer-derived tilt with total-station measurements.
Result
The measurements showed the dam’s response changed alongside reservoir levels during the monitoring period, giving the team context for interpreting those observations.
