The project team needed dynamic response information for the existing and replacement airport control towers across two project phases.
STRAAM approach
STRAAM monitored the approximately 185 ft existing tower from January 21, 2013 to January 31, 2014. A later technical summary records monitoring of the approximately 350 ft replacement tower through June 2015.
Result
STRAAM completed a detailed evaluation of the existing tower and documented a separate monitoring phase for its replacement. Together, the work gave the airport team a record across the transition.
