STRAAM Groups ability to generate a structure specific risk profile from each buildings measured response provides accurate data points for insurers to quantify the combined risk associated with a pool of structures. This granular data in combination with regional cat modeling can be used in predictive modeling to help better price risk associated with catastrophic events. Total losses will be reduced significantly as the risk pool eliminated structures with unacceptable structural risk ratios.
